QuintessenceLabs, a two-decade-old cybersecurity company in Canberra, has raised $20 million with $15 million coming from the National Reconstruction Fund; earlier rounds for Harrison.ai, Vault Cloud and Quantum Brilliance are also recalled.
Sydney EV charging startup Jolt has borrowed C$194m from the Canada Infrastructure Bank to deploy 1,500 kerbside chargers across Canada, having previously raised $100m from BlackRock Real Assets in 2021.

Australian agtech firm DAS has raised $3 million with TELUS Ventures investing, supporting expansion into Canada and North America. Existing backers include CSIRO, IAG and Startmate; DAS is a Winter 2020 Startmate alumnus.
AgriWebb has secured a $10 million top-up from CEFC, Grosvenor Food & AgTech and Telus plus new backers iSelect Fund and Germin8 Ventures, ahead of a planned larger Series C round.
